Overview
In this role you design, productionize and maintain ML services that power data products at Adyen, enabling real-time decisions across payments. You join a cross-functional team working on large-scale ML systems to optimize transaction success, security and efficiency. You will drive the end-to-end ML lifecycle from ingestion to deployment, shaping the technical direction and architecture. This is a hands-on, impact-focused opportunity to advance fraud prevention, risk management and payment performance at global scale.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Develop and maintain production ML pipelines for data ingestion, training, validation and deployment
- Experiment with online learning, clustering, supervised/semi-supervised methods and graph analysis for risk and behavior monitoring
- Identify and fix performance bottlenecks in training and inference (memory, latency, etc.)
- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate ML into products and services
- Collaborate with data scientists to scale research prototypes
- Coordinate with MLOps and platform teams to align tools and future priorities
- Support and promote good engineering practices on product ML teams
- Engage with stakeholders to communicate outcomes across audiences
Belangrijkste vereisten
- 5+ years of ML engineering experience
- Strong Python programming
- Experience with end-to-end ML model lifecycle in production
- Experience building data pipelines with big data
- Good software engineering, data engineering and MLOps understanding
- Knowledge of data science, statistics and ML techniques
- Familiarity with typical Python data science stack: spark, SQL, TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost/LightGBM, Pandas, MLFlow or similar, Airflow
- Experience with ML infrastructure: Kubernetes, Docker, Airflow, Argo Workflows, Prometheus, Grafana
