Overview
As a Decision Scientist in the Payments Fraud Management team, you analyze large datasets to balance real-time predictors, crafted rules, and third-party signals, safeguarding financial flows while preserving a seamless user experience. You collaborate with product, engineering, and cross-functional partners to uncover strategic opportunities and quantify business impact. You will shape payments products by evaluating new fraud signals and protecting post-pay-in lifecycles. This role offers high-impact work in a data-driven, security-focused environment.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Partner with stakeholders to identify strategic opportunities and provide data-driven recommendations
- Test and analyze opportunities to validate value and business impact using statistical methods and visualizations
- Define, calculate, and monitor team KPIs; flag issues and analyze root causes
- Enable self-service data access for stakeholders via dashboards
- Promote analytics best practices and a data-driven decision culture
- Co-create with Data Scientists to enhance fraud detection processes
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Experience in a Decision Science or Data Analytics role
- Experience in Fraud Prevention, Trust & Safety, or related area
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving with business impact
- Familiarity with SQL and Python
- Experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
- Knowledge of statistical methods (A/B testing, regression, inferential techniques)
- Results-oriented and comfortable with iterative processes
- Strong communicator able to present to technical and non-technical audiences
