As a Senior Consultant / Project Manager in our Amsterdam office, you will lead modules within larger projects and drive business development, collaborating with partners and industry experts. You will work on diverse engagements in retail and FMCG, shaping strategy, category management, and operations improvements. You’ll build a strong professional network, mentor junior staff, and contribute to knowledge development. This role offers rapid impact on client outcomes and opportunities for growth in a supportive, international team.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Lead modules within larger projects and manage smaller engagements (3–5 consultants)
- Direct client contact and lead presentations in client meetings
- Coach and develop project team members
- Collaborate with industry experts within Roland Berger
- Capture insights and contribute to knowledge development from client work
- Participate in office-wide projects and sector studies
- Play an active role in business development efforts
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Completed academic university education (WO)
- 4–7 years of experience in strategy/management consulting or equivalent roles
- Prior involvement in retail and FMCG is required
- Technical affinity and commercial insight
- Analytical thinking and structured argumentation
- Precise work approach and open-minded attitude
- Experience managing others and delegating to juniors
- Familiar with (financial) modeling (Excel), presenting (PowerPoint), and storytelling
- Strong spoken and written English
