Overview
As a Senior BI Consultant at DEPT, you translate complex data into actionable insights for clients. You collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and design data products and dashboards that drive decision-making. You lead discovery and implementation across multiple data sources, guiding clients on BI tooling and data governance. You work with cross-functional teams to mentor staff and deliver measurable impact for marketing, ecommerce, and business performance.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Lead discovery workshops to map business model, stakeholders, KPIs and reporting needs
- Guide and mentor the team and department with the Team Lead
- Translate business questions into BI requirements, data models and dashboard concepts
- Design, prototype and build intuitive dashboards for management and specialists
- Set up, validate and maintain data integrations from multiple sources
- Audit existing BI and reporting setups to assess data quality and maturity
- Collaborate with client and in-house teams on data collection, modelling and visualization best practices
- Onboard and enable clients on dashboards and reports to drive adoption and decisions
- Identify opportunities to automate reporting and streamline recurring analysis
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Fluent in English and Dutch (written & verbal)
- Experience in a data-related role (BI Consultant, Data Analyst, Data Specialist, Marketing Analyst)
- Strong SQL for data manipulation and modeling (starschema’s)
- Experience with PowerBI, Looker Studio, Looker, or Tableau
- Experience with data analysis tools (Python, R, SPSS)
- Understanding of marketing data (campaign performance, attribution, website tracking)
- Analytical, proactive, with strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills
