Overview
In this role you will shape the global transaction monitoring framework within Adyen’s AML Compliance Analytics team. You’ll work at the intersection of financial crime data and analytics to challenge first-line controls, design risk scenarios, and defend the framework with regulators and audits. You will lead end-to-end, influencing stakeholders across engineering, product, and compliance to move fast without sacrificing regulatory rigor. The role offers impact at scale in a fast-growing fintech environment, with a clear focus on responsible growth and robust controls.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Draft FEC risk scenarios for transaction monitoring coverage
- Advise and independently challenge First Line on detection design and effectiveness; approve framework changes as risk owner
- Draft and review procedures, guidelines, and model documentation with regulatory rationale
- Support new product launches by assessing risks and coordinating changes to the framework
- Create validation tools and perform data analysis to drive continuous improvement
- Represent and defend controls to Model Validation, Internal Audit, and regulators; own remediation of findings
- Align diverse stakeholders and contribute to cross-functional workstreams supporting controlled growth
Belangrijkste vereisten
- 5+ years in AML, Financial Crime, or Compliance Analytics
- Proven track record in developing or tuning FEC risk scenarios and transaction monitoring frameworks
- Strong end-to-end ownership with ability to navigate ambiguity and prioritize independently
- Credible with engineers, regulators, and commercial teams; effective stakeholder management
- Data-savvy with hands-on experience in Python/PySpark; able to generate insights and present evidence with Looker
- English professional proficiency; comfortable operating in a launch-fast, regulated environment
