Overview
As Senior Accountant for Fintech Projects, you help safeguard accounting integrity during new product launches and ensure scalable financial processes. You will partner with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test initiatives that manage fund flows between customers and partners. You influence reporting, controls, and compliance across the lifecycle of strategic initiatives and manage close activities for new launches. This role offers visibility into large-scale financial design and the chance to shape scalable systems.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive cross-functional projects with significant business impact
- Lead design, implementation, and testing of large-scale initiatives from an accounting perspective with long-term scalability
- Define and communicate accounting, reporting, and process requirements; ensure robust controls and compliant solutions
- Prepare documentation for processes, data, fund flows, and related instructions
- Collaborate with Data Analytics and BI teams to design, implement, and test reporting for new initiatives and integrate into monthly close
- Act as SME for accounting challenges and support balance sheet and P&L excellence
- Oversee monthly close for new initiatives until transitioned to standard month-end close
- Work with local accountants and auditors to ensure regulatory compliance
- Identify and implement operational process improvements to improve efficiency
- Foster a collaborative, positive team environment
- Note: duties are non-exhaustive and may include ad-hoc tasks
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Minimum 6 years of accounting experience
- Experience with projects and project management is preferred
- Experience collaborating with Product, Data Analytics, and Technical Accounting teams
- Comfort with big data in fast-paced environments
- Solution-oriented, self-motivated, results-driven
- Ability to grasp technical designs and translate into clear concepts
- Bridge between technical details and business perspectives
- Proactive, resourceful self-starter with strong work ethic
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills

- Familiarity with US GAAP and month-end close procedures
- Strong proficiency in financial systems; SAP S/4HANA experience preferred
- Fluent in English
