Overview
In this role you will build and scale a German-speaking client base in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, trading environmental commodities and developing long-term relationships. You will identify market opportunities, manage commercial risk, and work with cross-functional teams to grow the business in a fast-moving environment. The position blends trading, business development, and client management to support the company’s DACH expansion. You will be the face of our environmental markets, shaping growth and delivering client-focused solutions.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Build and grow a portfolio of clients across Germany, Austria and Switzerland
- Proactively identify and approach new clients, including cold calling and outbound BD
- Trade and negotiate environmental commodities, spotting market opportunities and managing risk
- Develop relationships with energy companies, project developers, financial institutions and other market participants
- Monitor market, regulatory and pricing developments across the DACH region
- Collaborate with internal trading, analytical and commercial teams to execute transactions and grow the business
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Commercially driven professional with experience in energy, commodities, environmental markets or financial trading
- Strong business development and negotiation skills with a proactive approach to winning new clients
- Existing network or strong understanding of German-speaking energy, industrial or financial markets is advantageous
- Native-level German and fluent English
- Entrepreneurial, ambitious and comfortable in a fast-paced start-up environment
