Overview
As Product Manager for Interface Foundations, you own Adyen's design system and the UI foundations that power merchant-facing experiences. You set standards, enable cross-functional teams to ship faster, and drive adoption of shared components and infrastructure. You balance rigor with velocity, ensuring consistent, high-quality interfaces across products. This role offers impact by shaping how merchants and their shoppers experience Adyen across teams and channels.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Own and evolve the design system and technical frameworks used across Adyen to deliver first-class customer experiences
- Decide what to build next for UI components and underlying infrastructure, treating engineers and designers as customers
- Maintain a high bar for component quality visible to merchants and shoppers
- Define standards and governance to accelerate teams without creating gatekeeping
- Drive adoption across teams without direct authority, aligning roadmaps and priorities
- Establish measurable metrics for adoption, speed, and experience quality, guiding investment decisions
- Collaborate across disciplines with engineering, design, product leads, and other stakeholders
- Deeply understand both the builders (engineers/designers) and the end customers (merchants/shoppers)

- Strong design sensibility and craft, with ability to justify component quality and impact

- Analytical rigor to set metrics, prioritize, and adjust course based on data
