Overview
In this role you drive the security strategy for Databricks’ Trust & Safety mission, shaping a safer data and AI platform for customers. You lead cross-functional security initiatives at scale and represent the discipline to senior leaders and external audiences. You will identify gaps in our infrastructure, influence adoption of robust controls, and attract top security talent. This is a chance to influence security at a global tech leader and contribute to a trusted platform used by many Fortune 500 customers.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Identify and close gaps in security infrastructure and services to improve customer safety
- Attract and recruit top security talent across the industry
- Represent the security engineering discipline across the organization and advocate data-driven security
- Represent Databricks at academic and industry conferences and events
Belangrijkste vereisten
- 9+ years of experience in Data Security or related areas with expertise in at least two domains listed (e.g., Cryptography, Kubernetes Security, Web Security, Governance, Privacy, Identity Management, Access Control, Key Management, Inter-Service Authentication, Secure Application Frameworks, Detection & Response)
- 15+ years of experience building large-scale distributed systems with high availability
- Proven leadership skills to lead across functional and organizational lines
- Strong communication skills to evangelize data security to senior leaders
- Bias to action and a track record of delivering high-quality security solutions
- MS in Computer Science or related field (PhD optional)
- Experience building systems at large scale internet companies is a plus
