As an Oracle Database Engineer in ING’s Oracle Expert Team, you will design, implement, and optimize Oracle-based systems to ensure high performance, security, and reliability. You will collaborate with cross-functional, agile squads to drive improvements and implement best practices across the Oracle landscape. You will work on complex challenges, shaping database configurations, automation, and capacity planning to support ING’s mission. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment

- Assist squads with performance optimization and SQL tuning
- Organize knowledge-sharing sessions for Oracle consumers

- Lead and coordinate strategic projects with other IT teams
- Stay updated with latest technologies and opportunities for innovation
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent
- 8+ years of experience in a complex IT environment with Oracle Database Architecture, Performance Tuning, Data Management (OCP-OCM experience or equivalent)
- Experience with Oracle Exadata and Multitenant Architecture
- PL/SQL knowledge
- Experience with Linux RHEL
- Knowledge of ELK stack and monitoring/alerting tools like Grafana and Prometheus
- Scripting experience with Ansible, Korn/Bash Shell, Python
- Knowledge of Git, Azure DevOps, and Azure Pipeline
- Troubleshooting complex database issues promptly
- Capacity planning
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and reliability concepts
