Overview
As Optimization Manager, you will drive full-funnel payment performance to deliver measurable business impact for Adyen’s merchants. You’ll partner with commercial, Product, and Data Analytics teams to translate data-driven insights into improvements across risk, conversion, and cost efficiency. You’ll lead high‑level conversations with customers, enable teams with tools and trainings, and act as a subject‑matter expert on payment optimization at scale. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on analytics to improve merchant success in a fast‑paced, global environment. You’ll work to adopt Adyen products and build scalable analytical solutions that power decision making.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Partner with commercial teams to strengthen merchant conversations using data-driven insights
- Lead customer discussions, enable commercial teams with tools and trainings, and act as a payment optimization SME
- Analyze merchant portfolios and payment data to identify opportunities and drive performance and risk improvements
- Identify and support adoption of Adyen products (e.g. Protect, Uplift) in collaboration with Product teams
- Build dashboards/tools and scalable analytical solutions from large datasets to generate actionable insights
- Operate with autonomy and a global, strategic perspective across high-value customers and cross-functional teams
- Support team operations, mentor team members, and build relationships with regional customers and stakeholders
Belangrijkste vereisten
- 5+ years’ experience in Risk & Fraud, Payments Performance, Data Analytics, Technical Account roles, or similar within fintech/payments
- Strong understanding of regional payments landscape (card network rules, regulations, risk considerations)
- Good stakeholder management across customers and cross-functional teams with an ownership mindset
- Ability to prioritize and execute independently in fast-paced, global environments with a continuous improvement mindset
- Strong data analysis skills and experience handling complex datasets; BI tools (Looker, Tableau) is a plus
- Excellent communication skills in English, able to simplify complex topics for technical and non-technical audiences
