Overview
In this role you will manage financial activities for a client portfolio within the Structured Finance & Capital Markets accounting team in Amsterdam. You will oversee planning, deadlines, data reconciliation, journal entries, and monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, including SPV-related financials and regulatory filings. You’ll support audits and assist with system improvements, working with cross-border colleagues and stakeholders to ensure compliant, high-quality reporting. This position offers a meaningful chance to shape reporting processes in a multinational, client-focused environment.

- Manage portfolio planning, deadlines, and quality of work
- Handle obligations and due dates for transactions
- Data reconciliation, journal entries, and monthly/quarterly/annual reporting
- Prepare financial statements and SPV-related reports
- Support the audit process
- Filing regulatory statistical reports to central banks
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policies
- Identify issues and resolve them
- Participate in system implementation and reporting optimization projects
- Collaborate with stakeholders, clients, and offices
- Coach junior accountants
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Accounting education at university level or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years in a similar role, preferably in multinational financial institutions or fiduciary services or accounting/audit
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Ability to work in an international, multicultural environment
- Interest in international financial markets and instruments
- Good knowledge of MS Excel
