Overview
As Material & Production Planner you will coordinate production and material planning to meet customer deadlines while optimizing inventory and capacity. You’ll collaborate with Procurement, Sales, and Production to balance demand, availability, and costs within SAP and planning systems. You’ll drive improvements to planning efficiency and service levels in a dynamic, customer-driven supply chain. This role supports the Amsterdam site’s mission to supply high-quality juice concentrates and flavors across regions. You play a key part in sustaining reliable operations and cost-effective production.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Create and maintain production plans and schedules to meet demand and optimize capacity
- Ensure timely availability of raw materials, ingredients, and packaging materials
- Monitor inventory levels and manage material replenishment to minimize shortages and excess stock
- Identify and resolve supply chain and planning bottlenecks with Production, Procurement, and Sales
- Analyze forecasts, orders, and capacity constraints to support planning decisions
- Maintain accurate planning, inventory, and master data in SAP and other planning systems
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning efficiency, service levels, and cost performance
Belangrijkste vereisten
- MBO+/HBO degree or equivalent work experience
- Several years of experience in production planning, material planning, supply chain, or sourcing
- Experience in food, beverage, or agri industry is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of Excel and experience with SAP and planning systems
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
