Overview
As Lead Solution Engineer for Mollie Connect, you will steer a six-person Solutions Engineering team across three offices, bridging product, tech, and commercial strategy. You translate complex partner requirements into technical solutions and help shape the Connect roadmap through hands-on leadership. You collaborate with CTOs, solution architects, and engineering teams at platforms and enterprises to unlock value in multi-entity integrations. You influence how we sell, implement, and learn, guiding the team from pre-sales through go-live. This role offers a meaningful chance to shape a partner-first platform at scale while maintaining hands-on technical impact.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Lead and develop a six-member Solutions Engineering team, including hiring, performance management, and career development
- Define team processes, set OKRs, and align with Mollie Connect's priorities
- Coordinate with Partner Management to unify commercial and technical efforts
- Lead upmarket pre-sales and consultative selling, designing solutions that unlock value
- Refine the team's approach for large, complex platform partnerships
- Hands-on implementation consulting for complex integrations and multi-entity setups
- Support partners from integration design to go-live with stakeholder alignment
- Represent partner needs in product discussions and contribute to the Connect roadmap
- Collaborate with Engineering Managers and Marketing to ensure enablement materials reflect real-world needs
Belangrijkste vereisten
- 7+ years in Solutions Engineering, Technical Consulting, Sales Engineering, or similar in software/SaaS
- At least 2 years in a leadership role, formal or player-coach
- Strong technical acumen with API, integration architectures, and technical docs
- Hands-on experience with APIs, webhooks, and modern integration patterns
- Proven consultative, technical pre-sales experience
- Experience in complex, multi-stakeholder environments (SaaS, marketplaces, or enterprise)
- Comfort with ambiguity and ownership
- Fluent in English
