Overview
In this role you will be the senior technical lead for Security decision science, shaping how we restrict malicious activity while preserving a smooth onboarding experience. You’ll build and own analytical foundations, evaluation frameworks, and metrics that guide risk-based trade-offs across the user journey. Collaborating with security leadership and cross‑functional teams, you will raise experimentation standards and mentor fellow decision scientists. This position offers meaningful impact at scale within a mission-driven marketplace.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Design the logic for applying restriction measures based on user risk and context
- Quantify friction versus harm to balance onboarding with security
- Lead cross-team discovery on open-endedSecurity problems (duplicate accounts, bot patterns, security tool evaluation)
- Own and maintain the Security metric tree and target-setting
- Raise standards for experimentation and causal inference in complex environments
- Mentor Decision Scientists and raise data literacy across the domain
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Proven analytical track record in Decision Science, Product Analytics, Econometrics, or related quantitative fields
- Experience designing metric systems and decision frameworks under ambiguity
- Strong practical foundation in A/B testing and causal inference
- Structured problem solving for open-ended business challenges
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to guide stakeholders
- Proficiency in SQL and Python or R for data analysis and modeling
