Overview
As Lead Data & Cloud Architect at EY, you will shape modern cloud-based data architectures for enterprise-scale environments. You’ll drive data warehousing, modelling and scalable platform designs, enabling AI-ready data ecosystems across AWS or GCP (Azure a plus). You’ll lead governance and technical decisions, mentor engineers, and partner with senior stakeholders to translate business needs into robust, future-proof solutions. This role blends hands-on delivery with strategic architectural oversight in a cross-functional, globally connected setting.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Design cloud-based data architectures across AWS or GCP (Azure optional)
- Develop data warehousing, data modelling and scalable platform designs
- Define AI-ready data platform components including ingestion, orchestration, storage and compute
- Provide architectural leadership, oversight and governance across delivery teams
- Translate business requirements into scalable architectural solutions
- Engage senior stakeholders and influence strategic technical decisions
- Drive architectural patterns, standards and best practices across teams
- Coach engineers and junior architects to raise technical capabilities
Belangrijkste vereisten
- 8+ years of experience in data architecture, cloud engineering or analytics platform design
- Expertise in AWS or GCP (Azure is a plus)
- Strong background in enterprise-scale data warehousing and data modelling
- Experience with lakehouse, streaming, and ELT/ETL architectures
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders (technical and non-technical)
- Comfortable working in ambiguity and solving problems without predefined paths
