Overview
As a Java Software Engineer at Adyen, you will contribute to building and maintaining a distributed, high-performance payments platform. You’ll work on one of the world’s largest PostgreSQL-backed systems, focusing on performance and reliability. You’ll own features end-to-end, from design to production, within a cross-functional, globally distributed team. This role offers meaningful impact, fast iteration, and opportunities to shape a scalable product used by millions of shoppers and businesses.

- Build and maintain the distributed high-performance platform
- Own features from initial design to live production release
- Identify improvements to robustness and scalability
