Overview
In this IT procurement leadership role, you guide a seasoned team to apply best-in-class sourcing across IT and technology categories. You manage a substantial global spend and key stakeholder relationships, aligning category strategies with the company’s procurement objectives. You’ll influence senior leaders and suppliers, driving cost savings and supplier partnerships at scale. This is an opportunity to shape a world-class function within a storied blue-chip business.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Mentor and lead a team of Procurement Specialists and Category Managers
- Own a large global IT spend portfolio across Software, Hardware, Services, Telco and more
- Manage relationships with executives up to Board-level in the EMEA region
- Collaborate with Procurement Leadership on innovative category strategies to drive cost savings and supplier engagement
- Represent a high-spending procurement function to SVP/Director/Board-level members
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Extensive IT procurement and strategic sourcing experience with multi-million spends and proven cost savings
- Led a team of procurement professionals from Buyers to Procurement Managers
- Spearheaded large-scale sourcing projects across IT categories (Software, Hardware, Telco, Services)
- Degree, MBA or equivalent
- MCIPS & Prince2 qualifications (desirable)
