Overview
In this role you lead Finance Operations for a global aircraft engine/maintenance company, driving accurate, efficient, and scalable finance processes within SAP. You supervise a small team across AP, AR, treasury, regulatory reporting, and overhead accounting, partnering with CFO and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure control and automation. You will champion process improvements and system optimization to support growth and external audit readiness. This is an opportunity to shape financial operations in a multinational setting with a focus on automation and governance.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Lead end-to-end AP, ensuring timely invoicing, approvals and payments; manage SAP-based invoice workflows with xSuite
- Oversee AR accounting, reconciliation, aging, and collections support
- Direct Treasury operations including payments, bank reconciliations, cash management, and loan administration
- Ensure CBS regulatory reporting accuracy, timeliness, controls, and audit readiness
- Oversee overhead accounting (payroll, travel expenses) and reconciliations; provide expenditure analysis
- Act as primary liaison for external auditors across AP, AR, treasury and related controls
- Coach and develop a team across Amsterdam and Poland; set objectives and allocate resources
- Drive standardization, optimization and automation of finance processes; partner with IT/SAP for system improvements
- Report to CFO and collaborate with Program Finance, Tax, and IT/SAP stakeholders
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Strong background in finance operations, accounting, or shared services leadership
- Experience managing AP, AR, and payments in an SAP environment
- Experience with OCR invoice processing tools (e.g., xSuite) preferred
- Solid understanding of financial controls, reconciliations and audit processes
- Experience leading international teams
- Track record in process improvement and automation
- Excellent written and spoken English; Dutch and German desirable
