Overview
In this Finance Manager role, you will professionalize the PE finance function, linking accounting, investor reporting and investment teams. You will build a reliable, integrated reporting environment and drive digitalization to speed up decision-making. You will partner with the investment team to translate portfolio performance into actionable insights, while ensuring control, compliance and effective external reporting. Verantwoordelijkheden
- Bridge finance, investor relations and investment teams to ensure consistent reporting and analysis
- Lead the move to an integrated, digital finance environment by harmonizing data sources, processes and systems
- Maintain accounting, tax and VAT compliance with ongoing quality improvements
- Develop and manage a data platform providing real-time portfolio insights
- Link financial reporting with investment performance to support decision-making
- Drive automation and process optimization to enhance speed, data integrity and efficiency
- Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual reports including fund valuations and statutory filings
- Coordinate external audits, tax compliance (FATCA, CIT, VAT, WHT) and reporting to authorities and LPs
- Manage and develop the Financial Accountant with cooperation across Group Finance, IR, Compliance & Legal and the investment team
- Maintain relationships with auditors, consultants, banks and tax advisors
Belangrijkste vereisten
- 10+ years of experience in accounting, finance or investor reporting
- Master in Finance (RA/RC qualification a strong plus)
- Excellent Dutch and English
- Strong track record in accounting, financial control or investor reporting in PE, fund or asset management
- Solid understanding of fund structures, valuation metrics, portfolio performance and cashflow dynamics
- Experience with Dutch GAAP, tax and regulatory frameworks
- Proven Excel and financial modelling skills; familiarity with AFAS, PowerBI, iLevel or similar tools
- Strong management reporting, data analysis and ability to translate financial information for decision-makers
