Overview
As Finance Director for Benelux and Nordics, you will lead the finance function from Amsterdam, shaping financial strategy and performance for Richemont’s Maisons. You’ll partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to drive growth, manage risk, and ensure robust compliance with IAS/IFRS and local regulations. This high-impact role opportunities you to influence the financial future of multiple markets in a global luxury group. Verantwoordelijkheden
- Strategic financial leadership and business partnership across Brand, Regional Functions, and total Company budgets and estimates; monitor performance and drive corrective actions
- Oversee accounting activities (AP, AR, GL, accruals, fixed assets, stock controls) and ensure timely financial statements
- Manage treasury operations and cash flow processes in coordination with Group Treasury
- Lead compliance, internal controls, audits, and tax filings within Benelux and Nordics
- Develop and mentor a multi-country finance team; drive process improvements and system enhancements (e.g., SAP, Concur, VIM)
- Provide strategic analysis and business cases for significant finance decisions; support senior leadership and executive committee
- Ensure accurate statutory reporting and local regulatory compliance; manage risk, controls, and governance
- Coordinate with Group Legal, Group Tax, and local authorities on regulatory matters and transfer pricing
- Oversee anti-fraud controls for e-commerce and boutiques, including automation and team supervision
- Define and roll out finance processes, ensure staff training on policies and standards
Belangrijkste vereisten
- 15+ years of progressive finance experience
- 5–7 years in a senior leadership role managing a medium-sized finance team in a multi-country European context
- Experience in multinational/matrix environments, preferably luxury retail
- Strong IFRS, local GAAP knowledge and tax systems in Benelux and Nordics
- Proficiency in SAP, Concur, VIM and advanced Excel
- Fluent in English; Dutch language proficiency is a significant advantage
- Auditing experience (internal/external) is a plus
- Experience with governance and corporate law relevant to Benelux and Nordics
