Overview
In this freelance role, you will advance Data Product Management capabilities across the organisation and drive governance, standards, and marketplace initiatives. You will work with cross-functional teams to define how data products are used, governed, and adopted, shaping documentation and playbooks for tooling. You will contribute to a nationwide data marketplace rollout, aligning business and technical stakeholders to maximise data product value. This is an opportunity to influence data strategy, scale governance processes, and enable data-driven decision making.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Define and evolve Data Product Management capabilities across the organisation
- Develop and enhance data product standards, including processes, roles and responsibilities
- Support design, implementation and rollout of a Data Marketplace solution across the organisation
- Create playbooks and user documentation for relevant tooling
- Develop reporting and dashboard documentation, including KPI and metric definitions
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to ensure adoption and alignment
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Strong technical background in Data Engineering, Data Governance, or Data Management
- Proven hands-on experience with Data Product Management
- Proven experience with Data Marketplace solutions
- Experience with at least one data catalog/data governance tool (Atlan, Alation, Collibra, DataHub, OvalEdge)
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to influence both technical and business stakeholders
- Hands-on Data Product Management experience with data governance/catalog tooling
