Overview
In this role, you establish and enforce data governance and quality across the finance data estate, partnering with FP&A Tech and cross-functional teams. You design and operate data quality frameworks, monitoring, and remediation to ensure trusted finance data. You bridge business requirements, data engineering, and regulatory compliance while safeguarding SOx assets and supporting platform modernization. You will work with analysts, engineers, PMs, and accounting teams to elevate data governance and AI ethics in finance. This is a data governance leadership role with tangible impact on reporting, risk, and analytics.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Governance, risk, and controls: implement data & AI governance standards and support SOx data asset governance; manage data risks and lifecycle requirements.
- Data quality frameworks & monitoring: design data quality dimensions, thresholds, rules, and scoring; embed checks into pipelines and lead root-cause remediation.
- Metadata, classification & stewardship: apply taxonomy and metadata management; establish stewardship across finance domains and leverage data management tooling.
- Delivery & stakeholder management: lead governance initiatives end-to-end and communicate impact to technical and business stakeholders; embed requirements in platform modernization.
- Hands-on analysis & community: use SQL and Python to profile data, validate DQ checks, and mentor engineers/analysts on governance topics.
Belangrijkste vereisten
- 3–5 years in data management, governance, or related roles
- Strong SQL and Python scripting
- Experience with data profiling and data visualization tools (Tableau, Microstrategy)
- Hands-on with data cataloguing, lineage, and DQ platforms (Collibra, Monte Carlo)
- Experience implementing DQ rules, dimensions, thresholds/SLOs, and metadata/MDM
- Experience applying GDPR and ethical data handling to data management initiatives
- Strong critical thinking, root-cause analysis, and cross-functional communication
- Strong communication across technical and business stakeholders
