Overview
In this role you will build and maintain customer-focused data pipelines and governance standards to enable unified customer profiles and classifications at scale. You will collaborate with data engineers, stewards, product owners, and software engineers to drive data product principles and data quality across the organization. You will translate business needs into data contracts and governance practices while delivering actionable insights and analytics. This role offers an opportunity to shape customer data products in a global retail context and work cross-functionally to raise data quality and governance maturity.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Build, improve, and maintain ingestion and transformation pipelines (SQL and Python) using tools like BigQuery, dbt, and Databricks
- Review and improve end-to-end data processes from code to infrastructure
- Create and enforce data engineering standards for ingestion, transformation, data quality, and data contracts
- Review data models, contracts, and mappings for governance alignment
- Present data products, quality, and governance standards to stakeholders
- Collaborate with Product, Software Engineering, and Data teams to promote data product principles and resolve data issues
