Overview
As EU DCE Lead, you own the delivery layer for Optiver’s European data center engineering across Amsterdam, Frankfurt, and London. You will lead a team of eight engineers, driving major infrastructure projects from concept through completion and standardizing execution. You’ll align regional operations with the global DCE mandate and manage vendor relationships, delivering high-quality, scalable physical infrastructure. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced, global trading environment with meaningful cross-team impact.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Lead a team of 8 data center engineers across 3 locations with day-to-day direction and career development
- Own end-to-end delivery of major infrastructure projects (colocation builds, site migrations, capacity expansions)
- Drive operational improvement to reduce toil and standardize processes across sites
- Coordinate dependencies with Networks, Platform, and Linux teams for integrated outcomes
- Align EU DCE operations with the global DCE mandate and collaborate with US/APAC leads
- Manage vendor and third-party relationships for physical infrastructure delivery
- Prioritize competing demands and articulate trade-offs to stakeholders
- Foster a culture of ownership, quality, and continuous improvement within the team
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Experience leading a technical infrastructure team
- Understanding of physical infrastructure; fast to learn new technical domains if needed
- Familiarity with project delivery in physical infrastructure environments
- Ability to engage credibly with network, systems, and platform teams
