Overview
As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will help establish SoftwareOne’s Dutch-speaking Security Operations Center and protect enterprise customers through our MDR service. You will monitor and respond to threats using Microsoft Sentinel and Defender platforms, collaborating with international teams to deliver effective incident response. This is an opportunity to shape a growing SOC, define best practices, and advance your cyber security career in a hands-on role. You’ll work on the Dutch SOC from Amsterdam, with a focus on impact, customer success, and continuous improvement.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Monitor and analyze events across Microsoft Sentinel and Defender environments
- Triage alerts, classify incidents, and perform initial investigations to identify threats and determine actions
- Validate events and escalate to L2/L3 as needed
- Serve as primary Dutch-speaking point of contact for customers with first-response communications and regulatory discussions
- Document incidents, reports, and case records accurately
- Contribute to SOC runbooks, playbooks, and operating procedures
- Support future SOC operating model through reviews and process improvements
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Junior experience in SOC, cybersecurity, IT security roles with exposure to monitoring and incident handling
- Hands-on experience with SIEM and security monitoring tools, ideally Microsoft Sentinel and Defender XDR
- Understanding of incident response processes and best practices
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 security technologies; basic networking, cloud, and identity security concepts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; fast-paced decision-making
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
- Preferred certifications: SC-200, Security+, MS-900, AZ-900, ITIL Foundation
