Overview
As a Credit and Collections Specialist you contribute to Brooks' financial health by managing credit control and collections within the EMEA region. You will optimize credit risk processes, support the accounting team, and drive efficient cash collection and reporting. Your work helps maintain strong customer service and operational accuracy in a fast-paced, collaborative finance environment. You’ll engage cross-functionally to implement improvements and ensure timely receivables, aligning with Brooks' mission to empower movement.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Monitor accounts on credit hold daily
- Manage Buying Group/Associations and member accounts
- Provide credit reporting to management in EMEA
- Contact customers regarding past due balances
- Process and coordinate Credit Invoicing related to Contra-Revenue
- Process new credit applications and approve new accounts
- Determine credit worthiness per policy
- Oversee daily banking activities and cash receipts
- Reconcile accounts receivable and resolve discrepancies
- Follow up on bad debt issues
- Implement process improvements to increase efficiencies
- Collaborate with Accounting & Control on cut-off and receivable reports
- Assist in ad hoc tasks and cross-functional projects
- Maintain professional knowledge through workshops and networks
- Communicate courteously with stakeholders
- Demonstrate teamwork and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Belangrijkste vereisten
- 2+ years of international (EMEA) credit control and collection experience
- Fluent business English; Dutch valued; Spanish or German advantageous
- Solid understanding of financial accounting and credit risk analysis
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Highly motivated, goal-oriented, able to work independently
- ERP affinity (preferably Infor M3) and strong MS Office skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
- Familiarity with Adyen or similar payment platforms an advantage
- Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Dutch fluency desirable but not required
