Overview
In this role you own the end-to-end lifecycle of Flow Traders’ core data products, including security masters, ETF compositions, and high‑resolution market data. You will design and operate automated data pipelines, ensuring trusted, reproducible datasets for the research and trading teams across time zones. You’ll become the expert on these datasets, optimizing usage and exploring new data sources to unlock value. Collaborating with cross‑functional teams, you shape data infrastructure and workflows to support growth and data‑driven decision making.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Own end-to-end lifecycle of data products and pipelines
- Build and maintain datasets aligned with research questions, ensuring traceability and reproducibility
- Design data quality checks and alerts to protect critical strategies
- Develop shared foundational data assets (reference data, instrument identifiers, corporate actions, vendor feeds)
- Ensure ongoing operation of critical pipelines across regions and time zones
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Analytics or data engineering experience, ideally at a startup or scale-up in growth phase
- Strong data modelling and data quality practice (tests, contracts, lineage, observability)
- Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with a statically-typed language
- SQL proficiency and experience with relational databases and version control
- Experience with large datasets and big data solutions
- Proven production ownership of data products
- Excellent collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to balance stakeholder requirements with data quality and broad applicability
