Overview

As a Cloud Software Engineer in Leaseweb’s Container Services, you design and evolve a platform that automates Kubernetes cluster delivery and management for customers. You’ll work with a cross-functional team to build components that deploy VMs, configure networking, storage, and security within Leaseweb Public Cloud. Expect hands-on work with Kubernetes, Golang, ArgoCD, and Helm while improving scalability and reliability. This remote-first role offers exposure to open-source collaboration and a fast, entrepreneurial culture.

Verantwoordelijkheden

Design, develop & maintain Kubernetes controllers & operators in Golang
Propose innovative solutions to meet product needs
Research, evaluate & recommend tools or components to improve the product
Collaborate with Product Owner and agile team to refine backlog and prioritize features
Improve & maintain the platform for high availability and scalability
Troubleshoot, reproduce, debug and resolve complex issues
Collaborate on open-source projects
Regular on-call duty (EOD–Engineer on Duty)

Belangrijkste vereisten

Kubernetes operators in Golang experience
Experience with Kubernetes components (Operators, Controllers, CRD, Cluster API)
Experience creating container images with Docker, Kubernetes manifests, and Helm charts
Experience with Kubernetes and related projects
Knowledge of cloud concepts (networking, storage, virtualization)
Ability to collaborate, perform code reviews
Experience with development teams using Scrum practices
