Overview
In this role you will own the quality strategy for the Billing Platform and empower developers to lead day-to-day quality. You will build and evolve automated testing across Web, API, and end-to-end flows, and design tools and infrastructure to scale quality with AI-powered insights. You’ll collaborate with product and design to surface risks early and translate data into actionable priorities. This is a hands-on, builder role that shapes how Lemonade ships fast without compromising quality in an AI-driven environment.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Own quality strategy for the Billing Platform and guide day-to-day quality in code
- Develop and evolve automated tests for Web, API, and end-to-end user flows
- Design tools, frameworks, and infrastructure to speed and scale quality
- Leverage AI agents and prompt engineering to improve test creation and coverage
- Partner with developers, Product, and Design to surface risks early and influence decisions
- Translate quality data into clear recommendations on gaps and readiness
- Promote quality engineering best practices across the organization
Belangrijkste vereisten
- 4+ years of QA Engineer or Software Engineer in Test experience
- Strong coding skills in TypeScript, Python, or similar
- Hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks
- Experience designing end-to-end testing strategies across Web, API, and data layers
- Builder mindset with ability to create tools and frameworks
- Red team instinct to challenge assumptions and uncover edge cases
- Familiarity with AI tools, prompt engineering, or AI agents
- Excellent written and verbal English communication
- Willingness to work in an office environment most days
