Overview
In this SPV Accounting role within Citco’s Amsterdam CFS team, you will oversee accounting for a portfolio of SPVs, ensuring accurate interim reporting and timely financial statements. You’ll work with cross-functional professionals to support Dutch GAAP and IFRS reporting, tax filings, and client communications. The position emphasizes collaboration, technical accuracy, and delivering compliant, high-quality reporting for complex fund structures. Verantwoordelijkheden
- Oversee accounting for a group of SPVs and review work done by junior accountants
- Prepare interim and annual reporting packs, including depreciation/amortization and interest schedules
- Review Dutch GAAP/IFRS financial statements for Dutch SPVs and ensure compliance with filings
- Handle tax compliance tasks including CIT, VAT, and WHT returns
- Communicate with clients, tax advisors, lawyers, notaries and Citco offices worldwide; escalate queries as needed
- Manage cash flows and related activities for client entities
- Support internal and external audits and assist with audit deliverables
- Postings and oversight of accounting processes within the Centres of Excellence and related systems
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Accounting qualification
- 6+ years in accounting role
- 2+ years managing work within a larger team
- Knowledge of IFRS and Dutch GAAP
- Knowledge of investment and real estate accounting; experience with Yardi, Investran (a plus)
- Experience in standalone and consolidated financial statements; proficiency in Workiva; Excel
- Excellent English communication skills
- Familiar with tax-efficient European structures and regulatory requirements (a plus)
- Strong financial/analytical skills; commercial, dynamic attitude
- Able to work in a team and autonomously
- Experience as client director or proxyholder is a plus
