In this role you will advance agentic workflows and state-of-the-art recommender systems at eBay's scale. You will collaborate with a global team of researchers and engineers to prototype, evaluate, and productionize AI models that personalize shopping experiences. You will work with large multimodal data and cutting-edge ML/NLP techniques to impact how millions of users discover and buy products. Verantwoordelijkheden
- Develop and deploy agentic workflows and ML models for multiple surfaces at scale
- Collaborate with applied researchers and engineers to brainstorm and deliver personalized experiences
- Influence the evolution of recommender systems and AI techniques and their deployment
- Work with large unstructured multimodal data representing inventory and users
- Drive iterative A/B testing to improve marketplace engagement andGMV
- Publish or share findings through blogs or papers (preferred)
Belangrijkste vereisten
- MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field with 3+ years of experience or BS/BA with 5+ years in Engineering / ML / AI
- Strong development experience in ML/AI environments (e.g., Python, PyTorch)
- Experience with cloud services, big data pipelines and databases
- Experience in NLP and industrial recommender systems
- Production engineering practices and OO language proficiency (Scala, Java)
- Publications, patents, or technical blogs a plus
