In this role, you will design, build, and maintain high-quality Android apps within DEPT's Experience & Engineering team in the Netherlands. You’ll translate designs into functional features, enhance app performance, and stay ahead of mobile trends. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor juniors to deliver user-centric solutions that support client growth. This opportunity combines technology and design to create meaningful digital experiences for global brands.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver mobile apps
- Translate design specs and client requirements into Android features
- Improve app performance, usability, and reliability
- Stay ahead of industry trends and propose innovative solutions
- Ensure code quality with SOLID principles and patterns like MVVM
- Participate in end-to-end mobile lifecycle from concept to deployment
- Take ownership of the product and resolve issues for stability
- Communicate with team and stakeholders to align with business goals
- Mentor and support junior developers to foster knowledge sharing
Belangrijkste vereisten
- 3 - 5 years of Android development experience
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
- Kotlin Multiplatform is a plus
- Solid understanding of Android frameworks and lifecycle
- Familiarity with SOLID and MVVM design patterns
- Java experience is a plus
- Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent English communication skills
