As AI Engineering Manager, you lead the new AI team within Data and AI, shaping how AI adds business value. You balance delivery, people growth, and culture, working with technical leads on architecture and execution. You translate business understanding into AI-enabled solutions and a clear roadmap aligned with company goals. Your role focuses on unlocking impactful use cases and delivering measurable outcomes, while keeping teams healthy and engaged.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Understand business processes and identify AI opportunities
- Move AI use cases from idea to live, including business cases and success metrics
- Own and prioritise the AI roadmap in line with company goals
- Coach and develop engineers, handling career progression and performance conversations
- Build and staff the team through hiring, headcount planning, and task allocation
- Maintain team morale, productivity, and early conflict resolution
- Convert technical and business requirements into delivery plans and identify dependencies and risks
- Collaborate with Engineering, Trading and Quant to design and deploy AI solutions
- Track progress, manage risk and scope, and keep stakeholders informed
- Improve delivery speed and align with company timelines in partnership with Tech Leads and Staff Engineers
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Strong project management and ability to manage roadmaps, sequencing, dependencies and risk in fast-moving environments
- Experience leading software engineers, growing them and managing performance
- Technical background capable of credible participation in architectural discussions
- Proven track record delivering software through a team balancing scope, quality and timelines
- Excellent people skills: coaching, feedback, conflict resolution, creating an enabling team environment
- Good judgment in hiring and developing people
- Genuine interest in AI and ability to identify what matters for the business
- Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Base in Amsterdam or willingness to relocate
- Experience working with cross-functional teams such as Trading and Quant
