Overview
In this role you will own reserving and Solvency II calculations, supporting regulatory submissions and financial reporting as Lemonade expands across Europe. You will help build AI-driven, scalable actuarial workflows to boost efficiency while maintaining standards. You’ll translate data trends into actionable insights for management and cross-functional partners. This position sits at the intersection of finance, insurance, and AI-enabled innovation, offering a chance to shape European growth with rigorous, data-driven actuarial work.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Own reserving processes and Solvency II calculations for regulatory submissions
- Contribute to SFCR, RSR, ORSA, and QRTs with tight regulatory deadlines
- Build and refine AI-driven workflows to accelerate actuarial work
- Identify data trends and communicate clear insights to inform decisions
- Raise actuarial compliance and professional standards as Europe expansion proceeds
Belangrijkste vereisten
- 4+ years of non-life actuarial experience, preferably in personal lines
- Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Econometrics, or related field
- Hands-on experience with reserving and Solvency II capital calculations
- Familiarity with Python or R and comfort with AI/automation
- Experience in financial reporting for regulated insurers
- Ability to communicate complex results to management and stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal English
- Willingness to work in an office environment most days
