Overview
Data Engineer at Atos designs, builds and maintains scalable data pipelines and architectures to enable advanced analytics and AI-driven solutions. You will collaborate with data scientists, architects, and stakeholders to ensure data quality, governance, and accessibility across cloud and hybrid environments. The role supports digital transformation by delivering high-performance data platforms for data-driven decisions. You will work in a global, client-focused environment and contribute to DevOps for Data and best practices.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines and integration patterns
- Develop and optimize data architectures using Azure Data Services and/or other cloud platforms
- Ensure data quality, governance, and security compliance
- Collaborate with data scientists and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Apply performance tuning and troubleshooting for large-scale data processing
- Contribute to DevOps for Data (CI/CD, version control) and automation of deployments
- Mentor junior colleagues and share best practices within the team
Belangrijkste vereisten
- 5+ years in data engineering or related roles
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Familiarity with MLOps, ML pipelines, and advanced AI concepts
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and troubleshoot complex issues
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, PySpark
- Knowledge and experience with Databricks and/or Snowflake
- Strong knowledge of Azure; experience with AWS or GCP is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English
- Agile team experience (Scrum, DevOps)
