Overview
As an Operational Buyer you ensure timely availability of goods and services by managing supplier relations and day-to-day procurement. You align procurement and order planning with the supply centers to support cost, risk, quality, and logistics objectives. You work across suppliers, internal customers, and production planners to keep the production plan stable and responsive. This role blends hands-on purchasing with optimization and collaboration to drive best value and on-time delivery. Verantwoordelijkheden
- Execute and manage purchase orders from creation to follow-up, ensure material availability and prepare forecasts
- Assess commitments, anticipate material issues, and escalate as needed
- Maintain purchase orders in the ERP system continuously
- Collaborate with suppliers, internal teams, and customers; provide feedback on production plan stability
- Advise on purchase parameter settings and framework supplier agreements to optimize procurement
