Senior Tax Officer
Profile
Qualification: master's degree in taxation.
Seniority: 2 to 3 years in a consulting firm or in-house as a tax accountant.
Duties Ensure compliance of random transactions with various tax laws, identify specific tax issues, and monitor the correct payment of taxes.
Assess the tax risk (legal violations, penalties) of upcoming transactions and their financial consequences.
Prepare for a potential tax audit and prevent a potential tax adjustment.
Analyze and verify the accuracy of tax calculations.
Measure the specific impacts of international standards on the company\'s financial statements.
Document the positions taken to comply with legal obligations or to be able to explain them during an audit or subsequent tax audits.
Advisory support to management and operational departments Contribute to establishing good tax governance: advise departments, inform operational staff, and raise awareness of tax issues.
Propose strategies for transactions or projects that offer optimal tax options.
Prepare tax returns (corporate tax, value-added tax, tax returns, etc.).
Monitor files and manage disputes.
Ensure external reporting of transactions that must be communicated to tax.
Legal Monitoring and Internal Communication Ensure daily legal monitoring of tax law (laws, regulations, case law, litigation).
Monitor European directives and their implementation at the national level.
