Overview This position is responsible for production planning, demand and supply management, inventory optimization, and supplier coordination to support stable and efficient manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage production plans and monitor production progress
Create demand forecasts, prepare purchasing plans, and coordinate delivery schedules with suppliers
Manage demand and supply planning as well as procurement activities to maintain optimal inventory levels
Drive inventory optimization and inventory reduction initiatives
Collaborate with Supply Chain teams and suppliers to ensure a stable and efficient supply network
Improve production, warehousing, and logistics operations to enhance overall efficiency
Develop and implement cost reduction initiatives
Monitor KPIs and provide regular reports to senior management
Requirements
Experience in Production Control, Production Planning, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field within a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of production operations and manufacturing processes
Experience in process improvement and operational excellence initiatives
Strong problem-solving skills and stakeholder management abilities
Business-level communication skills in both Japanese and English
Dutch language skills are an advantage
