Role summary
We are looking for an experienced Murex BO & MXML SME with strong expertise in Murex Back Office, MXML and workflows . The role requires deep knowledge of back-office operations, including confirmations and settlements, along with hands‐on MXML configuration and support experience.
The successful candidate will work across development and production support in an Agile/DevOps environment , supporting Murex solutions across key asset classes such as FX, Money Markets (MM) and Interest Rate Derivatives (IRD) .
Provide subject matter expertise across Murex Back Office, MXML and workflow configurations .
Configure, maintain and support MXML interfaces and workflows .
Support Murex Back Office processes, particularly confirmations and settlements .
Troubleshoot and resolve Murex BO and MXML-related production issues.
Provide ongoing production support and contribute to a DevOps way of working.
Support development, configuration, testing and maintenance activities within the Murex environment.
Work closely with business and technology teams to investigate and resolve functional and technical issues.
Participate in Agile/Scrum delivery , collaborating with cross‐functional teams.
Support solutions across relevant asset classes, including FX, Money Markets and IRD .

Strong hands‐on expertise in Murex Back Office (BO), MXML and workflow configuration .
Strong understanding of Back Office operations , particularly:
Confirmations
Settlements and settlement processes
Hands‐on experience in MXML configuration and support .
Strong knowledge of financial asset classes, particularly:
FX
Money Markets (MM)
Interest Rate Derivatives (IRD)
Experience working in production support and a DevOps environment.
Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies .
Willingness to work across both production support and development‐related activities.
Nice to have
Experience in Marketwire, Collateral Management module in Murex.
Datamart experience
Unix scripting and SQL Basics
Collateral, Murex DataMart, Unix and sql
