What will you do as a Process Improvement Consultant at IMPROVEN?
In this role, you help organisations to work smarter, more efficiently and more effectively. You’ll delve into processes, identify where bottlenecks arise and translate your analyses into sustainable improvements. In doing so, you’ll combine process optimisation with change management: you’ll not only advise on how things can be improved, but also help organisations to actually implement and embed those improvements. You’ll work with various stakeholders, facilitate workshops, analyse processes and implement new working methods that deliver immediately visible results. Some of your duties
Facilitating workshops with staff, stakeholders and management to identify processes, bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement. Mapping and analysing complex processes, identifying where delays, errors or inefficiencies arise, and translating these into concrete proposals for improvement. Analysing process data, performance and operational information to provide organisations with evidence-based advice and practical measures for improvement. Carrying out projects across a range of sectors, such as the energy sector, local authorities and other organisations dealing with complex social issues. Improving operational processes, for example at network operators in relation to smart meters, fault handling or other crucial services. Getting involved in the day-to-day running of an organisation – for example, within the local authority’s tax department – so that you understand processes from the inside and develop improvements that actually work. The design and implementation of new working methods that enable departments, teams or entire supply chains – such as those involved in the energy transition – to collaborate more efficiently. This is where you recognise yourself?

Our team from
Process Improvement
specialises in Continuous Improvement using methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, BPM and PDCA. We analyse and optimise our clients‘ processes, using tools such as low-code and agile cloud applications. There is no ’one-size-fits-all’ solution. In every complex project – whether it involves a new strategy, the implementation of an IT system or another structural change – there is one key common factor: optimising processes and ensuring they align with one another. We are keen to involve our clients’ staff in understanding how our advice was developed and how everyone can ultimately embrace the change during implementation. That is why it is important that you have strong communication skills and good presentation skills. Building understanding and being understood is mutually essential.
