Wholesale Business Analyst Amsterdam | 40 Hours per Week | Hybrid | Temporary Contract
A leading global fashion retailer is looking for a Wholesale Business Analyst to support its EMEA business. This role combines commercial analysis, business planning, and strategic project support within an international wholesale environment.
We are specifically looking for professionals with experience in fashion, retail, wholesale, apparel, lifestyle, or consumer goods businesses. This position is less suited to candidates coming from purely banking, technology, or traditional business analysis backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze wholesale performance across markets, accounts, product categories, and channels.
Translate data into actionable commercial insights and recommendations.
Support strategic growth initiatives, account planning, and distribution strategies.
Build reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior stakeholders.
Support forecasting, budgeting, and business planning activities.
Partner closely with commercial, merchandising, planning, and finance teams.
Support key projects and ensure timely delivery of milestones and business objectives.
What We're Looking For
2-5 years of experience in Business Analytics, Commercial Analysis, Wholesale Operations, Merchandising, Planning, or a similar function.
Experience within fashion, apparel, retail, wholesale, lifestyle, consumer goods, or FMCG environments.
Strong analytical mindset with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Comfortable working with large datasets and commercial KPIs.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
