Applications are invited for appointment as IT Officer / IT Technician / Senior IT Assistant (holding the functional title of Assistant IT Manager / IT System Specialist) in the Sau Po Centre on Ageing within the Faculty of Social Sciences (Ref.: ), to commence as soon as possible, on a up to/ more than 1-year temporary term basis with University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
We are looking for a highly dynamic and proactive IT professional who excels in project management, execution, and quality assurance, with a solid background on vender management. Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related disciplines, at least 5 years’ relevant work experience in managing vendor for IT system development, enhancement and maintenance, and handling stakeholder engagement. Relevant experience in community projects is preferred. Applicants should also be a good team leader with strong sense of responsibility, effective communication, analytical and problem – solving skills, and willingness to learn. Proficiency in English and Chinese (including Cantonese) is required. Applicants with less experience may be considered for appointment as IT Technician/Senior IT Assistant.
