Operations Manager

What does your day look like as an Operations Manager
You will maintain the day-to-day operational focus and lead the operational team on a daily basis
You will work in the warehouse according to the LEAN philosophy and take charge of operational implementations, evaluations & budgets
You will be coaching and mentoring your team, managing situations where a consensus needs to be found
You will be responsible for a safe working environment
You will be the primary contact person for your customers, managing expectations/statistics, implementing and delivering on KPIs and productivity targets
You will be involved in forecasting and budgeting for your accounts
You will report to the Site Manager
What do you need to be successful
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain/Logistics or equivalent through experience
At least 3-5 years of experience in an Operations role and managerial experience of leading a team
Good knowledge of automation
Ability to work in a multi-cultural team environment which is extremely fast-paced
Lean background is a plus – ideally 5S
Strong communication skills in English and Dutch
