Senior Data/Software Engineer | Netherlands | Hybrid
We’re looking for a Senior Data/Software Engineer to join a high-performing data engineering team working on large-scale data products and modern cloud infrastructure. What you’ll be doing:
Build and maintain data pipelines and data products Work within a data mesh architecture and contribute to domain data ownership Support legacy migration projects with minimal disruption Identify technical gaps and work through them to completion Balance hands‑on engineering with stakeholder and client collaboration Communicate technical decisions, risks and blockers clearly What we’re looking for:
Strong SQL Hands‑on Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code experience Experience with GCP, particularly BigQuery, Dataflow or similar services A consulting mindset and strong problem‑solving ability Comfortable working in ambiguous environments Someone who takes ownership and gets things shipped Nice to have: dbt Airflow Data mesh experience Domain‑oriented data ownership Retail, e‑commerce or consumer goods data experience
