CS&L Solutions Architect & Workstream Lead (M&A Carve-Out) We are supporting a large-scale food manufacturing separation programme and are looking for a CS&L Solutions Architect & Workstream Lead to take ownership of both the technical solution design and delivery of the Customer Service & Logistics workstream.
This is a hybrid architecture and delivery role operating at the centre of a complex Transition Services Agreement (TSA) environment. The successful consultant will be responsible for designing future-state logistics and warehouse processes while ensuring operational continuity across manufacturing plants, external warehouses, 3PL providers, customer service operations and downstream distribution networks.
The role requires a unique combination of SAP ECC6, APO, EWM, food manufacturing, logistics operations, carve-out delivery and programme leadership. You will drive both the architecture and execution of the separation, ensuring inventory ownership, batch traceability, warehouse operations and customer fulfilment continue without disruption throughout Day-1 transition and hypercare.
Key Responsibilities
Solutions Architecture & Technical Design
Design and govern end-to-end Customer Service & Logistics (CS&L) processes during a TSA and separation environment.
Define and document future-state processes across SAP ECC6, APO and EWM 9.5 landscapes.
Design inventory ownership transfer processes between divested and acquired entities.
Lead warehouse, logistics and customer fulfilment process blueprinting activities.
Define integration architecture between SAP ECC6, APO, EWM, external warehouses and 3PL providers.
Design and validate EDI, IDoc and interface solutions supporting inventory, dispatch and transportation processes.
Ensure food-industry requirements including FEFO, batch traceability, shelf-life management and cold-chain controls are embedded in all process designs.
Create separation-ready architecture that supports future S/4HANA roadmaps while maintaining current-state operational stability.
Required Experience
5+ years acting as a Logistics, Supply Chain or CS&L Solutions Architect with hands-on delivery responsibility.
Proven experience leading workstreams within M&A, divestiture, carve-out or TSA environments.
Strong hands-on knowledge of SAP ECC6, APO and EWM 9.5.
Experience working directly with food manufacturing plants, warehousing operations and production environments.
Strong understanding of inventory ownership, batch management, FEFO processes and product traceability.
Experience integrating SAP environments with external warehouses, 3PL providers and EDI platforms.
Demonstrated workstream leadership experience across business, IT and third-party suppliers.
Experience leading cutovers, hypercare, operational readiness and testing activities.
