About the position
For one of our clients in the dredging industry, we are looking for an experienced
Pipe Operator
to join a
hopper dredger
operating on international projects. As Pipe Operator, you are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the dredging installation, with a focus on pipelines, valves and dredging systems. You work closely with the dredge master and deck crew to ensure optimal dredging performance and safety. Key responsibilities
Operating and monitoring dredging pipelines, valves and related equipment Assisting in loading, unloading and dredging operations Monitoring pressures, flow rates and wear of pipes and fittings Identifying technical issues and reporting abnormalities Supporting maintenance and repair of dredging equipment Ensuring all operations are carried out according to safety procedures and company standards Requirements
Proven experience as
Pipe Operator
or in a similar dredging-related role Experience on
hopper dredgers
is a strong advantage Good understanding of dredging systems and pipe installations Basic technical and mechanical skills Ability to work safely under pressure and in a team Good command of the
English language Willingness to work on international rotations What we offer
