About the Role We are seeking an experienced
Operations Specialist - Collateral Management
to join an international financial services environment in Amsterdam.
You will oversee collateral management and margin operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing, effective risk mitigation and operational excellence across global teams.
The role involves close collaboration with financial markets, risk management and operations teams, alongside participation in process improvements, regulatory initiatives and transformation projects.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily collateral management and margin operations.
Monitor collateral activities involving OTC derivatives, ETD, clearing and securities financing.
Manage margining processes, collateral reconciliations, disputes and escalations.
Ensure adherence to CSA, ISDA, GMRA and GMSLA agreements.
Coordinate collateral management activities across international operational teams.
Identify operational risks and implement process improvements.
Support system implementations, regulatory changes and transformation initiatives.
Monitor operational performance, reporting and compliance standards.
Collaborate with stakeholders across financial markets, risk and operations.
Essential Requirements
Minimum
2-3 years of experience in Collateral Management or Margin Operations .
Strong understanding of
OTC derivatives and financial markets products .
Hands-on experience with margin calls, collateral reconciliations and dispute management.
Solid knowledge of
CSA and ISDA documentation .
Understanding of collateralisation, counterparty credit risk and margin requirements.
Familiarity with European banking regulations.
Experience working within banking, treasury or financial markets operations.
Fluent English communication skills.
Desirable Experience
Knowledge of GMRA/GMSLA agreements.
Experience with clearing, repo and securities lending transactions.
Exposure to international financial institutions.
Experience in process optimisation and change management.
Knowledge of financial markets systems and regulatory frameworks.
Degree in Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
