Fynch Mobility is looking for a Technical AI & Support Engineer to join our growing team. Our company, located in Utrecht, has a clear mission: to make travel expenses and expense management effortless for employees and employers alike. How we do this? Through our platform for mobility and expense claims, which automates trip registration and expense claims and integrates seamlessly with HR and payroll systems. We work closely with companies and other organisations, so their employees save hours of paperwork every month and employers gain clear insight into mobility costs and CO₂ emissions.
Your role
As Technical AI & Support Engineer, you are responsible for streamlining the processes between development, support, and sales. You carry out technical tasks related to implementations of new customers or any changes in license configuration, provide second-line technical support to our users, automate internal workflows and fix bugs to improve the platform. You play a central role in the Fynch team and work closely together with people in different positions.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Set up and configure customer licenses;
Debug data (quality) issues in SQL databases;
Work together with the support team to solve user issues in a timely manner (mainly second line, first line when necessary);
Participate in testing of the (mobile) apps and/or backend;
Automate daily support workflows and processes using n8n and AI;
Fix bugs in the platform with help of Claude Code.
About you
You have some relevant education or work experience with databases, testing, technical support and/or technical implementations;
You have experience in working with databases (PostgreSQL) or are eager to learn and develop your skills;
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Dutch;
You are proactive and organize your own work effectively;
You don’t mind juggling several tasks at the same time;
You know a bit of Python or are keen to develop your Python skills.
You enjoy using AI to automate your work.
You do not need a visa to work in the Netherlands
