Do you have experience in Exterior Engineering within shipbuilding, and are you ready to take it up a notch? This vacancy is meant for Exterior Engineers who want to participate in the champions league of yachtbuilding.
As a Special Engineer Exterior, you will be responsible for the technical execution of assigned project scopes, ensuring the highest standards in design, 3D modeling, and engineering documentation. Working closely with project teams, you will play a key role in the manufacturability and feasibility of each yacht, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Key responsibilities
Develop and refine detailed engineering designs, 3D models, and technical drawings.
Ensure compliance with Class and Flag regulations, as well as internal project specifications.
Conduct technical assessments to guarantee manufacturability and feasibility.
Identify and solve technical bottlenecks, providing solutions and recommendations.
Collaborate with senior engineers, production teams, and project leads to ensure timely delivery of high-quality work.
As a Project Engineer you bring:
A Bachelor/Master in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Naval Engineering, Maritime Technology or related study.
2-5 years of work experience in Exterior Engineering in Shipbuilding.
Relevant software knowledge: 3D AutoCad and preferably
Siemens NX, Teamcentre and Cadmatic.
Good command of the English language (verbal and written).
Knowledge of shipbuilding production and the construction process.
You’re accurate by nature and have a high standard when it comes to delivering the quality and results.
What we offer you:
Salary:
A salary between €3.500 - €5.600 based on experience.
Generous time off:
With full-time employment, you will receive no less than 40 days off per year (27 vacation days + 13 ADV days).
